The County Commissioners approved two letters to send in support of the Town of De Beque’s initiatives during the administrative public hearing on March 26, 2024.

Progress is moving forward on the 32 1⁄2 Road Corridor and E Road Corridor Improvement Projects after the well-attended open house earlier this month to inform residents about the project plans and clarify any questions or concerns from the public.

On April 1, Mesa County Public Works and the contractor will begin the Melody Estates Drainage Project to resolve stormwater flooding issues at the Clarinet Lane cul-de-sac and Piano Lane bend.

During the March 26 administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners approved amendments to Mesa County’s 2024 budget and staffing levels to authorize additional revenues, expenditures, and department needs with updated information that was not available at the time of the 2024 budget adoption on Dec. 12, 2023.
